As an American, I would like to point out that there is no such thing as "Lake America." Use of the term is a loyalty test.

@404mediaco Google is doing this wrong. It doesn't matter what the US Geographic Names Information System says. If the people who use the maps call it Lake Ontario, it's Lake Ontario. If the map doesn't reflect what people know, it's the map that's wrong, not the people.
@404mediaco MapQuest doesn't bow to fascists and works just as well.
