All you people suddenly advocating for the abolition of copyright because it’s being inconsistently enforced, without offering an alternative for creatives to not be ripped off, have evidently never created anything.

Some of you suggesting that because copyright litigation seldom works for creators, that we are better off having no protections at all, consider that you are doing the large corporations’ work for them.
I’m not particularly interested in hearing the opinions of people who don’t create; you have no skin in this game.
I have created both copyrighted and open licensed works.
In all cases where there was a copyright dispute, I exhausted myself chasing a thing which seldom ended up benefitting me.
When I leaned into giving work away, I ended up doing better on projects and using less of my time to fight pointless battles.
