Tomorrow morning, the polling places open in the German state of Saxony-Anhalt for their state elections.
The blue line at the top of this polling chat is Putin's favorites, the far right populists of the AfD party.
Deeply unserious, deeply corrupt, and has deep ties to Russia — but they offer a normalization of racism, and apparently that is what voters want.
If they win tomorrow, I will not spend a single euro in Saxony-Anhalt for as long as their fascist shadow hangs over this state.
Like in the US, there a still more than 50% sane people left, that are looking full of fear to this election.
The ugly face of racism/fascism is sadl showing up all around Europe.
Pray for the sane people.
A win of the wrong Party will bring a lot of trouble to the whole country.

I totally agree with your description of the blue poison. But you should consider, that about the half of the people are not fascists. Those people will need our € more then ever. They depend on it the more the fascists try to silence them.
Some 20 years ago, I met danish people in West Jutland, who told me (less polite), I should ... disappear, because I'm not Danish.
I still love Denmark and every time I'm there, I meet a lot of people who "have their heart at the right place".
I'm only a visitor, a guest - so I stick to support what seems right to me.
Hopefully the better half of Saxony Anhalt will survive. We shouldn't let them disappear.
I think, we can do better.

@randahl Reminds me of that old saying "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas". In that case, what happens in Sachsen-Anhalt will not stay in stay in Sachsen-Anhalt, independently of whether we spend 100 or 0€ there.
How does the voting system work there? It looks like they are still polling below 50%.

This one's creepy. When Hungary goes fascist, the rest of the world yawns. Fuck Hungary. Germany, however...y'all are known for causing some trouble along those lines. This one worries me.
