It's been interesting to watch everyone discover that constantly having to review code that you (or your coworkers) didn't write sucks actually. I experienced this when I worked as an expert witness a few decades back--although that did have the extra stress of having to explain said code under oath to a room of lawyers and an opposing expert. It occurs to me that this format of code review would make for an excellent "final exam" in a programming course.
