@ajroach42 a text-only computer network that conserves bandwidth by only giving you a baud rate marginally above how fast you as an individual can read
@reb old sysops used to say that no one needed anything faster than 1200 baud, because that's reading speed.
@ajroach42 this made me realise in a really visceral way that despite never being a proper professional sysop, I am rapidly becoming a new generation of old-school sysop...
