My PineNote and Andrew’s PineNote are now successfully running the most recent Debian-based image released for the device. Here’s hoping I don’t break them again any time soon.
@djsundog lol
After an apt update and an apt upgrade and reboot, I'm stuck on the "booting" screen.
I'm sure the serial console has something useful to say, but I'll fiddle with that at a later time.
@ajroach42 oof, sorry yo - the dongle is on my desk in an antistatic device if you decide you’re feeling froggy haha
@djsundog All good! I don't think I'm in the mood to fight with it rn, but I'll see how long I end up hanging out.
@djsundog Alright, I caved and now I'm debugging the thing over serial.
@djsundog In case you end up down this road before I see you again, before you apt upgrade,
`sudo apt-mark hold mutter-common`
Version 50, the current version, doesn't work. Version 47 does.
As soon as I manually downgraded, everything was fine.
