been using #uBlock for so long, i have a settings file that i keep updating and deploying into all my devices.
remember it was AdBlocker that paved the way. so that means, i’ve skipped ads for over 20 years now.
needless to say, last time i saw a web page without uBlock was on a friend’s computer, and was shocked out of my mind. they unfortunately use Safari, so i gotta dig into that and help them set up something ―they read news sites from India and those are a hot mess.

uBlock Origin (the ad blocker) does a really good job at blocking ClickFix attacks (where user is encouraged to paste commands into Run box). They added support in July and have been refining rules.
