I didn't get a lot of bird photos on my trip, sadly. I couldn't linger as long as I wanted since there was too much ground to cover, and my friend is, in her own words, a yapper. I found myself getting frustrated at first, that I couldn't listen for birds very well, and had to stop myself and ask whether I wanted to feel resentful of my good friend who I enjoy spending time with because she was making birding harder, or if I wanted to enjoy my trip, enjoy my friend, and just take it all in. I chose the latter. It is what it is! And someday I can go back and do more birding and bird photography there.

But I do have a bad photo of a Canada jay, and decent photos of a dark-eyed junco, a white-tailed deer, and maybe a golden-crowned kinglet to share, along with some landscape and plant/fungi/lichen photos. :)
