ignoring the culture war for a second (yea, I know). it’s really insulting to all the developers, many on here, who have toiled away the last couple years making the open source desktop great with support for hardware/firmware/gaming/apps/everything.
then some rich man comes along who, according to my YouTube algorithm, is the Saviour of Linux because of some default apps and a shitty window switcher and we should all shower him in cash.
1Password’s VP of Product ist fully onboard with DHH. So this wasn’t a fluke after all. Glad things have been set in motion so I can cancel my @1password subscription soon.
