@lumi what are the options? Motorola GrapheneOS and Fairphone something?
@gildilinie@beige.party grapheneos is painful to recommend. it surely is better than stock android and way better than ios but eh
i think our only real hope right now are systems like postmarketOS
@gildilinie@beige.party i would have a much better time shilling for gOS if they at least had some way to allow root for the user
doesn't even need to be via apps. it could just be root via adb
but some way for the user to take full control
gOS now has a power imbalance between the user and the devs...
why would one need root in the first place...?
