I see so many FOSS-advocates default to considering what our licenses should be demanding, whereas to my mind this focus on license terms is what got us into this mess!
The whole issue is that we don't have the practical power to actually enforce the terms of our licenses!
What I recommend: Consider what you're building & who's in the best position to benefit from it. Make sure you're happy with the answer.

What FOSS software have we been building? Mostly infrastructural software. Which, yes, is vital but winds up getting taken for granted.
There's massive effort (much of which is redundant with needless churn) in aiding the development of centralized webservices. I think this tends to benefit businesses more than individuals & informal groups. Especially when we get into the realm of Big Data!
So please: Be creative in your technological endeavors!
