He's also an early source of the quotes around
people that tend to be more thoughtful have more
self doubt and those that tend to not be thoughtful
have less self doubt. (which is ironic a lot of the times)

Makes sense to me, as without thinking and empathizing doubt is unlikely to creep in. Similar to how actual frauds never experience impostor syndrome because they know they are full of *redacted*.
