@downey The nature of the Fediverse and posting to a wider audience is that responses are likely. Some replies we like, some we don't, and some we just ignore.
I love a good quote as much as the next guy. And lord knows I've posted some and forwarded some where the author is debatable or just plain incorrect. I've been called out on it and my immediate response was 1) research to verify 2) rectify with a follow up post and or deleting the original. I've never responded with 'nobody asked for your opinion' because when I toot something, I'm courting replies (a.k.a opinions).
