I'm bored. Who's your favorite tv character and why?
Doctor Who. Because he or she is the Doctor.
Born at about 318 CO2 ppm, I am trying to forget TV. As my father in law sais:
"Het leven moet voorwaarts geleefd worden."
@Gina I've a few...
- Rowan Atkinson - Black Adder
- Robert Llewellyn - Kryton [Red Dward] (Although Lister is also up there as well)
- Rami Malek - Elliot [Mr Robot]
- Simon Pegg - Pretty much anything
I'm sure I've got some more
@Gina Animal from the muppets show.
Rowan Atkinson, but in the Blackadder series. I don't like Mr Bean. Absurd British humor, love it. Great fun when I was young.
Might've picked Laurel and Hardy, but that's 2 people. They belong together.
I loved Blackadder but loathe mr. Bean.
I pretty much dislike Atkinson in everything except Blackadder 😹
@Gina
Ha ha. I didn't really consider that before, but I think I am in the same boat as you here. 😆
@smallcircles @Gina I just got my coworker to start watching the series, and he's loving them. I'm a big fan of Rowan Atkinson too, Mr Bean was funny... once, but now that's all Atkinson is known for. Some of his early 80s stuff is absolutely hilarious.
Yes, it is a pity that that's nearly forgotten now. Can't remember if there were reruns in the Netherlands. Other crazy British humor were The Young Ones. Coincidentally bumped into that the other day on Youtube.
@smallcircles @Gina Young Ones and the follow up Bottom (and if you want to go further Guest House Paradiso). I just finished rewatching both of those series not too long ago. Still crack me up.

@Gina Doctor Who because you never forget your first Doctor, in my case the Ninth.
@Gina Iam not answering...
@Gina Iam not answering...
@Gina The Doctor. Incarnations 5 and 10 in particular. Why? Because who wpuldn't want to travel through time and space in the company of an alien with two hearts and a sonic screwdriver.
@Gina President Josiah Bartlet. Because the world should be so lucky as to have a person like him in the Oval Office.
@Gina Leslie Knope! She’s wholesome and a feminist rolemodel
@Gina I’m borING, hence it has to be Patrick Stewart as Jean-Luc Picard. He is a good person, and a good Captain. Too few like him anywhere.
@Gina Peter Lustig (and later Fritz Fuchs), he shows kids how to recycle, compost, and protect nature, inspiring a generation to care for the planet.
