Yesterday the heat broke (over a hundred days of ~100℉ (~37℃) temperatures!) and it rained a little. It's time to review and get ready to do stuff.
The goals for this land are (in no particular order):
A) make some $ so that the land pays for itself
2) grow some of my own food
III) nursery for Permaculture & SolarPunk realization.
Sort of in the meantime, while contemplating how I might be of help to my fellow Earthlings during the last of my life (I've got about two or three more good decades if I'm lucky, and if I start taking better care of le mort) I hatched this sort of plan to build high-efficiency high-tech low-embodied energy ecologically-harmonious villages and neighborhoods.
The reasoning goes like this: due to climate change driving weather instabilities we are going to need large protective structures (greenhouse/shade house) to grow food. Think like sports stadiums but larger. Now integrate living quarters and shops into the perimeter:
