@leaverou I think "dark mode toggle" makes sense for sites that are like apps or reference books that people frequent, which is ~0% of blogs/personal sites. ~100% of visitors to personal sites are drive-by tourists, and if the page isn't legible they'll just bounce instead of looking for a readability control. (~1% will try the browser's reader mode before bouncing)

I don't support dark mode on any of my websites in the first place. Very few complaints so far. So, dark modes are overrated.
