Actually to be fair, Dutch public transportation is confusing because they’ll use the same route number in both directions and label them by final destination, assuming you know whether that’s north/south or east/west. So it can be very tricky for visitors to figure out which platform they want to be on
@0xabad1dea First time I was in the Netherlands, I got on a tram in Rotterdam, not realising both directions shared the same number, I ended up at the tram depot...
@0xabad1dea this is the same in at least Melbourne. Gets quite exciting* when the tram’s final destination is a depot so it’s not labeled with the normal final destination.
