The UK ETA process is 'interesting'.
It costs 20 GBP per person.
They really, really want you to use their app. Available in English only 🙄 in the Google & Apple stores off course. Digital sovereignty anyone?
You can apply online, but it will take some stamina, e.g. clicking through the 'warnings' & 'helpful' messages before you'll land on a webpage.

@BjornW Yep... I persisted and used the web. The 20 pound charge is a farce and quite onerous for a family of 5. Admission for each and every of those applications was automatically granted within a second of submitting the form. Just another record in the database, no human in the loop.
@fschaap I assumed it would be like this.
Preferable we would go back to pre-brexit borders. If that's not possible I'd expect the EU to use the same annoying & expensive hoops to go through for UK people, so we can negotiate a better way of doing this cross-border thing. Quid quo pro 😈
