I’ve used Herdr instead of tmux for the past few days and I still really like it!

The things I don’t like are all about quickly jumping to stuff by kb:
- No command to show pane numbers (tmux: prefix+q) and jump
- Named tabs can’t show a number, and you can’t pin numbers (e.g. dev console at 8)

To coding agents what tmux is to terminals. Runs where your agents run: close the laptop, ssh from anywhere, nothing dies.

@henrik I couldn't get into herdr but also couldn't go back to tmux so I started my own! https://fut.sh

@henrik I usually run it like this. It has a few more things like built-in project template (think tmuxinator) and dedicated agents list for those that like that in herdr.
Everything is fast, scriptable, customizable.

On the plus side for Herdr, I really like the mouse-friendliness. When you’re leaned back in your chain nursing a cup of tea, it’s nice to just click the desired agent session or tab instead of laying down a chord.

One more thing I miss from tmux in Herdr is prefix+prefix to jump to the last pane. It was very quick to type and I do it all the time. prefix+tab is slightly less convenient in a way that I think is not just muscle memory.
