Looks pretty cool so far. :)

A print in progress with the transparent PLA, side lit by a flashlight. The light is bouncing through it like a chunk of quartz or something.

Okay, yeah, I like that. And it printed with no drama at 225C. If it’s backlit, you can kinda see the contact in there.

Three quarters view of the 23-pin housing printed with transparent filament. It’s more of a diffuse translucent plastic than anything you’d call transparent.

You know what this reminds me of? The clear stuff Doozers used for construction in Fraggle Rock.

And as I recall, those sticks were made out of vegetables because the Fraggles liked to eat them. You know what else is made of plant starch? PLA.

Sugar is made from vegetables and can be used in a 3D printer. To get it nice and clear like that is tricky. The Doozer structures would need sugar heated to hard crack with no air bubbles and rapidly cooled after extrusion to keep the shape.

Evil Mad Scientist Laboratories made several iterations of a sugar 3D printer which they called "candyfab", using a fused accretion approach that is decidedly not clear
