No, I can't make fun of Trump's weird "put a point on it" hand gestures because I am an unrepentant and wholly irredeemable hand talker. Admittedly, there's something way more snotty about the way Trump does it, but I have absolutely had people lose focus on what I was saying while they stared at my hands like I'm trying to karate chop them. I talk like Tom Cruise's character in court during A Few Good Men and it's not always endearing.
But it is weird - like he's trying to squeeze a tiny fart out of his huge ass by pinching his fingers together upside down.
My tick is more "hands WAY out here, then way inside, then violent pointing, a couple of gestures to "the outside world" that apparently exists directly behind me, plus theatrical brow wipes, jerk off motions, and that hand motion the ref makes when it's "no goal" in an NHL game..."
I gather it's fun to watch if I'm not talking to you - and less so, if I am.
Like, I won't interrupt you - but if I think you're talking nonsense, you will see my head shake from side to side and I might make a "foul" call like an NBA ref with my hands.
I assure you, this is all pretty involuntary.
