my good friends alice and bob, who i trust completely, want to introduce me to someone new they've met online, mallory! how exciting! i haven't visited mallory in person to exchange PGP keys, but i trust her through my trusted third parties.

UPDATE: mallory is willing to visit me in person! i've left my FIDO2 security key in the hotel room, and i'll make sure i only tell alice about that by encrypting my message to her with her new key that mallory forwarded me. the only other person who can access my hotel room is the maid, anyway, who i assume is not evil
mallory's such a great friend! she's already convinced me to tell her something i know, and to lend her something i have. she also demonstrated her cool forensic science kit, so i guess she now has a copy of something i am (my fingerprint). awesome!
