@charliejane I watched your chat with Jessie Gender on Nebula earlier today, and planned to pop into the comic shop tomorrow to do this. Thanks for the reinforcement to help fix that plan in my scattered brain. :-D

@charliejane I don't want you to have to do this labor, but do you already know of any comic shop in SF that doesn't use that ComicHub preorder system? I went in person to Mission Comics to try to preorder your Star Trek comic and they just told me to sign up for an account at ComicHub which is an ATROCIOUS experience. I couldn't figure out how to use it. I was just hoping for a personal interaction where, I dunno, they just wrote my name in a looseleaf notebook to preorder or something 😅

@charliejane I picked up the preview ashcan at my LCS. I thought Zero Point felt more like classic Trek in that it moved at a more deliberate pace and focused on characters, SF of ideas, and ethical questions, while Star Trek felt more like modern Trek with a motorcycle chase and exploding planets.

No shade to the team on the other book (I especially liked the colors) but Zero Point was more my jam.

Great job laying out who Raffi and Tendi are, even for readers who never saw Picard or LD.
