Oh! Thank you!
Also, the Table of Contents from the video (in image alt text because character count):
@cavyherd nice.
One of many things The Great Simplification team are very good at is time-stamped show notes on their own site, each note with a link to a relevant resource:
https://www.thegreatsimplification.com/episode/222-brett-kencairn#notes_stop
For some reason I'm having an incredibly hard time navigating their site. They apparently are running several pretty voracious trackers, which breaks the site if you block them. (I run EFF's Privacy Badger on Chrome.) I also apparently have a thoroughly borked install of Chrome, which Isn't Helping.
Even at that, it took me a very roundabout route through a web search to even •find• the show notes page for this pod.
That all said, yes, they do seem to put a lot of work into this.
@cavyherd I am definitely here to praise their *content*.
Their website design… not so much.
They redesigned it last year and I find it to be a usability car crash in so many ways 😩
Oh good, it's not just me!
I mean, it's pretty af, but trying to navigate, or even to get the damn thing to •load•—
Ironic, considering the whole thesis of the podcast, Lol
@cavyherd indeed. It’s especially hard to navigate on my phone.
And there are persistently sticky panels which get in the way of reading the content on narrow screens
Even on a full screen, they've got tiles overlaying other tiles, & stuff sliding around & obscuring things. Maddening, really.
BTW, thank you SO MUCH for the initial thread. The Great Simplification podcast directly addresses several projects I have in play very directly, & has been a huge help, so thank you for posting this!!
