hello hello guy who wrote about crypto for several years, we don't have a smoking gun of money laundering in progress at Omarchy, but the Omarchy funding is the most money laundering coded thing i've seen this week
@davidgerard GNOME has existed for decades and as far as I can find their single biggest fundraising campaign was a little over 1.1 million. Some guy vibe codes dot files and clones the Arch package repos and gets over 12 mill.
Like how does anyone think this looks legit.
@davidgerard it sounds like a lot of money to me. but for these people this is pocket change… it feels more like it’s about boosting fascism than the actual dollars
