this website I'm viewing has a header that takes up like a third of the page, and a side bar on the left leaving me to read the actual relevant content on the tiny corner of my screen. When I narrow the window, many elements of the header go away and clears everything up to make it easy to read the content.
Wide Screeners are second class citizens.

I use "RemoveElement" addon. I feel great when I right-click on a top header and make it disappear. Extends the page vertically just great.

oh cool! thanks for the idea. though it is wild that's websites are that bad that it is needed.

I remember when phones were the minority platform, it was still at the tail end of my being in webdev. And we were always very careful to make sure our sites looked and worked okay on phones. Seems now that phones are the majority platform, monitors don't get the same courtesy.
