The correct answers to the Trolley Problem is not playing it.

Thinking for the sake of only thinking is stupid. And I say that as someone who already live in their head way too much
@farah I've always said that the solution to the trolley problem is that it's not your problem.
The whole setup to the thing is, "you have to do this or that; if you do this, this bad happens, if you do that, that bad happens; but either way, the result will be your fault". Except it's not.
I had nothing to do with putting this scenario in place. Whether I do this or that, the fact that bad happens either way is not *my* fault. The scenario suggests that you are to blame for either one or the other, so how can you choose? But you are not to blame, this situation was created through no action nor fault of yours. So no matter what you do, you are not really to blame, so the entire premise is flawed.

Hm I don't agree with you regarding thinking, but it's kind of hard to argue opinions, yeah?
But there's a web comic I recall. Husband walks up to wife. "So, ok, there's a trolley ..."
Wife interrupts. "I pull the lever!"
"What?!"
"Maybe I just like levers"
"You can't just go pulling levers for no reason!"
"Maybe people shouldn't be tying people to railways for no reason."

@farah the trolley should have had regulations in place that prevented this kind of thing, or maybe it shouldn't have been built at all.
