I've noticed recently Alonso has a distinctive two-tone poo which is the same colours as that car. 💩
This is likely because Alonso eats his favorite dark brown beefy dogfood we give him first, and will only touch the old-manny light brown "senior" dog food he's supposed to have later.
Alonso is an artist.
Alonso went home this morning, so we went for a walk without him. We returned to find the front door standing half open. We hadn't locked it, but it was definitely firmly shut when we left.
We entered and looked around. Nothing. We went upstairs... where we were greeted enthusiastically by Alonso who had been looking *everywhere* for us. Apparently he thought he'd just let himself in. He must have given the front door one helluva a mighty kick. 🚪 🐕️
There's a place at a crossroads with a little dirt road which appears to be the local message board for the dogs in the area. Alonso always stops to check his messages and to cock his leg to post his own replies.
Recently, however, he's decided this is a good place for a little poo.
It seems Alonso has taken up shitposting.
As we set off on a walk to the lac with Alonso, a large fox crossed the road ahead of us and ran into our field. 🦊
Alonso didn't see the fox, but as he passed the entrance he picked up the scent and suddenly dashed into the field, first one way, then the other, then ran off around the path around our hedgeline.
We're pretty sure the fox was long gone, but from a distance we saw him bounding back and forth chasing an invisible quarry, and then... 🌬️
like Keyser Söze ... he was gone!
Alonso's poo reminds me of my uncle's waterbed.
In the 1980s one of my uncles went out to buy a waterbed. My aunt was rather surprised when he returned home later instead with a Ford Fairlane with a two-tone light/dark brown paint job.
Everyone called it the "waterbed".
