@thejapantimes The "AI" bubble will have popped by the time they are done "studying the feasibility" of building memory fabs in Japan so this while exercise is kind of pointless.
Japan would probably benefit from being self-sufficient but building large fabs just for two over-hyped American corporations running at huge losses isn't a great idea.
