Would an EU politician please tell me why I — as an EU citizen — have to see unconventional, politicized place names dictated by Trump in both Google Maps and Apple Maps on an iPhone bought in the EU?

Are the European countries still sovereign states or have we somehow become vassal states of The Kingdom of Trumpistan?
