I'm getting a bit frustrated with the various Mastodon apps for Android.
Tusky doesn't support quote posts, and scrolling is janky.
Fedilab scrolling also stutters.
Pachli doesn't group notifications.
Mastodon official doesn't let you swipe between the tabs or customise them much.
I'm on a Pixel 8 Pro - so scrolling performance shouldn't be this bad!
What's your favourite #Android app for the Fediverse that you personally use on a regular basis?
(Not interested in websites / PWA thanks.)
Maybe Snowdrop, it's pretty new. Unsure if it has all the features you want, I don't post that much so my experience might be different.

There's Raccoon, it supports Mastodon and in the changelog it mentions quotes.

@Edent I've been using Moshidon and have been happy with it. Scrolling always seems fine, you can swipe between timelines and the UI is nice. Might be worth giving it a go. YMMV obviously.
@Edent I mostly use Moshidon and/or Pachli because both are very modern clients with good settings options and I like the interfaces. Moshidon looks more like the default Mastodon app but adds some functionalities. Pachli looks like Tusky but works better for me and is a little bit more customizable.

@M0YNG As I say in the post, I'm not interested in a PWA.
@Edent I've settled for Pachli for the last year or so. I find that, for me, it's the best of a mediocre bunch.
@Edent used to be on Tusky but now on Pachli. I don't really care about the notifications, to me they're just attention stealers anyway. What I really like are the zoom capabilities for images and the Markdown support.
@Edent I switched from Tusky to Moshidon and it's yet to annoy me.
I'm a pretty basic consumer though.
@Edent Fedilab doesn't seem to have any scrolling issues on my OnePlus 13. That's what I use anyway.

Um, it sounds like you thought I was denying your personal experience. I wasn't, for the record. It was a small additional data point to suggest the issue was possibly hardware dependent. I apologise for any offence, it was not intentional.

@mercurial thanks. Looks like there hasn't been a new release for over a year. Is it still getting support/updates?
As far as I can tell from GitHub issues they are currently doing a rewrite, which seems to be the reason for the lack of updates to current stable releases.
@Edent @mercurial Moshidon is getting a major rewrite at the moment.
I now have five Android apps giving me identical notifications for replies to this post 😅
@Edent is IceCube available on Android? Been rock solid on iPhone, MacOS
@Edent I have similar pain and ended up settling for the official app that allows me to switch between accounts easily.
I wish the app development would be more up-to-date with the web version, it's always lagging behind.
@Edent Pachli, but only because I wanted to test something else. Tusky worked for me, not sure if I was missing quote posts 🤔
