@QasimRashid Please, correct me if I’m wrong. Saudi Arabia’s application of Sharia still includes rules that would be extraordinary by Western legal standards: apostasy can carry the death penalty; sex outside marriage is criminalized; hudud punishments can include flogging/amputation; men may have four wives; women need a male guardian to marry; and sons generally inherit twice daughters’ shares.
@QasimRashid having said this, I absolutely don’t believe that the NY Mayor or most of the Muslim people in the U.S. want to bring Shariah law here.
