The faceless cash cow I ran into this morning (how are we creating a world in which this naming is even a thing) extracted, rescripted and voice cloned EmmyLou Harris reflecting on the unique grain of human voice as the mark of loss. It got shared because the video included Dolly Parton in its money-making listicle of 5 voices that are unmistakably precious to Fake Voice Cloned EmmyLou. You couldn’t make up this ironic contortion.
