This is really great news.
Balcony solar isn't, like, a Proper Massive Solar Setup that can power your whole entire house, but it's dead simple, there's a tiny inverter on the back of the panel and you just plug it straight into the wall and tell your dishwasher to do its thing tomorrow at noon.
No battery involved, don't need permission, don't need an electrician, just plug it in. Very quick and easy.
Six hundred quid for now 'cause they've JUST become legal, but I promise you right now Aldi are rubbing their hands together and figuring summat out for the middle aisle
