At primary school we had a talk from a man who'd been struck by lightning. My takeaway was that lightning strikes get you invites to visit places and meet people. I've stood on hills in lightning storms several times. I'm very disappointed that I've never been struck.

@fesshole When we were kids, ads showed us all the cool things you could do with tampons: cycling, horse riding, rock climbing etc..
We had no idea what a tampon was though.
