Back in like 2022 I saw a quote tweet of an anti-vaxxer whose unvaccinated daughter had died from covid.

The quote tweeter said something like, "How crazy do you have to be to keep denying the importance of vaccination after your own daughter died!"

It takes extreme moral courage to accept information that comes with the emotional consequence of believing your decisions killed your child. I doubt the quote tweeter could do it. I doubt I could do it.

When someone is not accepting a piece of information you think it's obvious they should accept, ask yourself:

"What would they have to feel if they believed this were true?"

It's a good question for yourself, too. When you see something you disagree with, ask yourself the hypothetical - what would I have to feel if I believed this were true?
