@emilymbender @deccamuldowney it is a nice article but the headline set my expectations inappropriately. This does not discuss fundamental problems with holding the middle ground. It discusses only rhetorical problems you might encounter when debating against such a position.
Unfortunately I was disappointed mainly because an article matching the headline might have been more interesting.
Does that mean the headline writer (an AI?) did a great job in getting me to click and read it? Hmmm...
