I really wanted to love the Pebble Time 2, but the screen is too dim and the text is too small. Only notification text size can be increased; other text is fixed. The max backlighting does not consistently create enough contrast. I have astigmatism, so I don’t always need to wear glasses, but the PT2 is unusable for me without them.

My original pebble steel round was awesome. It could actually pass for a nice analog watch. It still works, but now that I have a de-googled phone, the most useful functions and apps don't work. I had high hopes for the new version, but it looks like the de-googled experience won't be any better.
