@TheBreadmonkey Did they ever say thank you? They did not, did they?
@TheBreadmonkey Britons lose £171 million worth of food a year to seagulls... but how much food do seagulls lose to humans? Can we do those calculations?
@matt @TheBreadmonkey I'm only one data point, but I've never swooped down out of the sky and stolen a seagull's chips.
@matt @TheBreadmonkey I think the Seagulls would quibble about the word "Lose", they may consider it a rightful donation.
@TheBreadmonkey
I witnessed (from a safe distance) a tornado of seagulls (a gullnado, if you will) that, when it dissipated revealed a guy so in shock / terror that he dropped his now empty tray (formerly) of chips.
Do not expect to survive a walk 'n' eat unless you've updated your personal onboard security systems to the latest versions & set to MAX. if you're ever in Cleveleys.
EDIT: Corrected typos & clarified the tray / chips situation.
@TheBreadmonkey In Aberdeen they’re like an occupying army and, individually, fucking massive to a degree I haven’t seen elsewhere. There’s a great mural in their honour.
@TheBreadmonkey bastards stole my cheese pasty from my hand in Llandudno
@TheBreadmonkey "Seagulls. Seagulls in gangs."
