Well fuck.
I've been putting in effort over the past year to switch me and my wife off Windows to Debian.
That's still a net improvement but now I guess I have to start looking at where we go after that.
Ugh, and I just realized TrueNAS moved from FreeBSD-based to Linux-based a while ago, so I don't know what to do next about upgrading the file server.

@harper @neil It’s coming from people right in the middle of the “community.” It’s not people who just showed up and decided to sabotage FOSS, it’s people like Linus and the members of the Debian Project and the SFC.
People I’ve known for *decades* in the FOSS world have been assimilated. It’s horrific.

if we really treat LLM code as if it was written by the bloke who wrote the prompt, then i think a lot of LLM PRs will be a no-go. "okay, but i need you to change this one thing." "this is too much, can you limit your change to this file here?" "why did you change this bit?"

The debian vote is disappointing. The SFC policy of "encouraging" the use of LLM is a disgrace.
