We built an opt-in People Directory that links people to topics based on hashtags in their bio!
It's cleverly simple, yet consent-driven because you need to add the #fedi22 hashtag to your bio to be included.
(Yes, that's where that hashtag came from)
@funqr We started this in 2022, it was just a short and unique hashtag that we figured would easily represent consent, that wasn't previously used in bios.
We are working on OIDC support so you can manage your listing without having hashtags in your bio, that will work with most fediverse software!
