even when i understand why it was done, it feels very isolating to make connections with people, and then have them removed because the instance administrator presses the 'ban all from server' button

@xvln yes, though problem. One of the reasons why I moved servers two years ago was maintaining ties that would have likely been severed otherwise. Moving instances is easy but I see how for an art account it's a bummer as all the previous posts remain behind.
