Good luck! I'm partial to a vertical weekly layout like the Hobonichi Cousin, and I split it with a horizontal line to have schedule on top and notes for the week on the bottom.
The bullet journal may be of interest, about creating the records and layouts that works for you. Ryder Carroll created it and has a nice approach, depending on your use case.
Muji planners and notebooks are more affordable, and pretty nice.
