Today at a festival in Kampala, we had a good time selling books and discussing EciFi stuff. 0urs was the only table with books in the speculative fiction genre, and it drew some small attention, though some people would quickly walk away when they saw it was spec fic books. Kampala readers prefer self-help titles, which is sad 😊

@crypticplumage Nah, mostly its the education system that did not favour reading for pleasure, but reading to pass exams, so now they imagine they can read to pass the challenges of adulthood.
