This is where a lot of people give up, sadly.
There are no "nice" ways to resist an unjust system, especially not one with as much authoritarian control as this one.
Some people actually decide once they have exhausted all the nice ways of "resisting" that they have tried everything & that there is nothing that can be done.
Excuse me, but have you considered *breaking the rules*? What about getting together with other people & becoming a *problem* for people who would control you?
We don't win against the oligarchs by obeying the rules THEY make. If you let them tell you what you are & aren't allowed to do, then you aren't allowed to do anything but lay down, give up, & let them win.
If sending a bunch of emails because no one is willing to fucking listen to people without status is taking things too far, then what's the plan?
If you think complaining loudly about obvious injustice & neglect is "over the top" or unnecessary, then WHAT in the FUCKING hell do you suggest we do?
It looks like you've ruled out EVERYTHING. It's not just against the rules to do something that would directly make change; it's also apparently against the rules to even TALK about how bad this is.
Just don't be fucking "polite" & "nice" & "normal".
Those are things you worry about if you're trying to maintain your status in the world as it is.
If you want to live in the world that could be, you'll need to stop trying to secure your place in an unjust fucking hierarchy.
Good behavior is a control mechanism. It gets you access to certain social benefits in exchange for giving up your right to try to make change.
You should not WANT to be respected by the prison guards & their bosses. You should not WANT to be a model prisoner.
It's not a good deal. Don't accept it.
