The random Effective Altruist troll paid by billionaires to push disinformation about the environmental impact of AI (that its fake), being platformed on the Time 100 AI list tells you everything you need to know about mainstream media's role in the pushing the broligraphy's propaganda and disinformation. This troll suddenly became popular through coordinated social media campaigns.
@timnitGebru they don't push the narrative because they are paid for it, their paymasters select the already red-pilled for sponsorship as they make the best propagandists.

Is “broligraphy” the handwriting of men who are too passionately into the tech of fountain pens?
@bignose @timnitGebru 😂 Probably was supposed to read "broligarchy".
@timnitGebru Yep, and it's really disappointing to see it working - people who *really* should Know Better are falling for this stuff.
As I discuss in my upcoming book, a few years ago, they had an effusive cover story on the Effective Altruists, written by a then Time editor who is now the communications director of Open Philanthropy (Facebook cofounder's outfit), which is now rebranded as Coefficient Giving.
