@gwil PLEASE look at the work @cwtch (worked on by @openprivacy ) has put into a space REALLY near here, developing their protocol utilizing Untrusted Infrastructure to enable offline asynchronous delivery of real-time chat in a metadata-resistent way.

EDIT: Sorry wait the "PLEASE" makes it seem, like, exasperated or judgmental or something I think? I meant this more as a "I think both your areas of research are extremely complementary and extremely alignable and I think really really cool things would come out of more direct engagement and I've been thinking this for like a solid bit now and now it's possibly closer".
