Do you have an off-the-shelf GDPR right-to-be-forgotten request form that people can print out and just hand to the security guard as they leave the shop?
@neil I don't understand what they (think they) gain from this system.
According to their privacy policy, they aim to link related incidents (theft over a set amount, burglary, robbery, physical assault)... How does that help? Seems like it doesn't unless the next step is to deploy *live* facial recognition to stop unwanted people entering their stores?

@neil Went to a Sainsbury’s a few months ago (I don’t get out much) there was a massive TV screen just in front of the entrance showing a live feed of everyone coming in. Just that really freaked me out.

I'm curious though what the purpose of it is.. surely if they're reviewing cctv footage later they don't need to recognise anything, just capture a photo of the culprit.
@tony The notice does not say against what biometric database they are reviewing the images!
