My wife bought new salad cutlery and because of the weird number of arms on the fork my first impulse was "that's AI". Which of course doesn't make sense because I was holding the object in my hands.
@tante it's like one of those seven- or eight-string guitars
@tante It's a pentatine fork of Satan's own dining table
@tante Can a fork be polydactyl?
@tante “Fuck Everything, We’re Doing Five [Tines]” https://theonion.com/fuck-everything-were-doing-five-blades-1819584036/
@tante perfect gift for your polydactyl friend.
@tante this is a classic "Keith Richards" 5-string mongrel. Good for blues.
@tante
You missed 3D printing I think
@tante
Are... YOU... the AI?
And the counting of the tines shall be three. Five, is right out!
The correct number of fingers for once, though.
I'm ok with threeks, but fivks are right out!
@tante
That's no Fork -- that's a FIVEK!
@tante
Hear, hear. I'm unfortunately rather familiar with "that's AI" being applied to real life stuff like objects, situations, etc.
My kids regularly apply it to me, when I forget the car keys or let out a lamer-than-usual dad joke or whatever.
"Dad's AI!"
@tante You never know, probably AI helped with design.
