Ruby: There are no rules! Just add your own methods to String, call things whatever you want, parentheses are optional, go wild!

@Gina isn't that why it's Ruby, but on rails?
@Gina Rails — specifically ActiveSupport — monkey-patches things to an almost ridiculous degree. So it's more like "F*ck yeah, let's go!" than "I think the f*ck not."
Hahaha, yes - if at all, it might be "...I'll do the monkey patches for you, thank you!"
